Dreams of rainbows

Have you ever dream of rainbows before?
I have countless dreams of them, it comes especially after I had an exhausting and disappointing day.
I guess it comes as a comfort that God will always keep His promise and that we should be patient even though it seems that our world is falling apart.

In each dream that I encountered rainbows, they never cease to calm me down. I feel so relaxed after looking at it. It must have been my imagination because in every dream that I have, all the rainbows were different, some had only two colours, some were glittering and shining and some were so huge!! It felt so real and the feeling was... WOW.. That was all I could think of, no words could describe their beauty.

In the Bible, the rainbow appeared after the huge flood in Noah's time as a promise that God would not flood the world anymore. According to science, rainbow is formed because of reflection (or so, I don't really want to bother about the scientific thing, for me, it's a sign of God's promise to us)...

The most vivid dream that I ever had were about fairies and rainbow. In my dream, the fairies were the ones forming the rainbow(of course it's just a dream, but the fairies were so beautiful, like angels, one could say). It was so beautiful. I tried to search for it on the internet and found one picture that looked almost similar to my dream.

Rainbows are a sign of good omen and it gives us hope for a better tomorrow.
I love seeing rainbows and would always try to search for one after a heavy rain. The view is breath-taking.

Even the song that Cinderella sung had the word 'rainbow' in it and the lyric is very meaningful too.. (take a look)
A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you will lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru

No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true

Hence, we should not give up on our dreams. And if we do tend to give up after struggling for a long time, think of God's rainbow and His promise.

In Jeremiah 29:11, God said that,
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

When we feel down, look up, search for the rainbow that the Lord has given to us and be strengthened as we remember His promise. It might not come today or tomorrow, but like Cinderella said,

"Have faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come smiling thru"
"If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true" ^-^
