Crochet rabbit for easter

I have been too busy studying and finally now that I have finished my studies, I can now get back to my hobby of doing crafts.
This Easter season I came up with a rough idea to make an Easter bunny.

(It took me about a week plus to finish it, along with the basket and easter eggs, the dress was made by my mom, sewed, not crochet) 

It is still not too late to wish everyone a Happy Easter!!

Our lord is risen! Halleluiah!! 

Raining, raining, what to do

It's been raining non-stop for a few days now. I like being at home but the rain is making me worried that there might be a flood in my housing area. :-/

I really pray that the rain would stop. Since I haven't updated in quite a while, here's what I've been up to. Enjoy the pictures. ^-^

(Made this large because my nephew's feet was too large for his age. The first one couldn't fit it at all)

(A new colour for him, this is the best one, i have to admit, practice makes perfect)

(My biggest project, making them for sale, still have two more to go, hoping to make more, let's hope I can have all the time I need to finish them) 

There's many things we can do at home when it's raining. Since I'm the indoor type, I find it heaven, the cool and nice weather, only makes me want to sleep. But I busying myself with so many things which I had no time to do before, but now I can finally do what I like. :)

Belated new year 2014

Happy new year!!! Since its still not yet February so i guess wishing happy new year is still valid ..
2013 was a fun and challenging year.
During the holidays was the most fun part because i get to do the things that i like most, my knitting and crocheting!!!

(This is my own pattern, Tigger, which i made for my sister since she requested it, like years ago and only during THIS holiday i had the time to make it for her, just in time for christmas, hence her Christmas gift)

I also celebrated Christmas at my dad's village in Serian. It was really fun because i got to meet all my cute nephews. It was as if yesterday they were just babies, but look at how big they are now. I guess I just didn't realise i was getting older as well.. Life is short and in no time all of them would be grown up and I'll be an old lady..

Crazy with crocheting again

During my teaching practice, there was this girl who really admire my crochet work because I made my own pencil case and also water bottle holder. So I was inspired to make something for her. The famous trend was or still is the minions from Despicable me. The one i made for her was horrible due to time constraint.
But when she received it, I tell you nothing can compare to the joy in the eyes. I feel so happy and embarrassed at the same time because I should have given her a much better one.
Personally, instead of a minion, I think mine looked like a 'banana man".
So, after teaching practice ended, I searched the net for patterns and found one, I edited a bit here and there to suit my own liking and made one minion. It looked weird also but my friends thought it was cute. Oh well, below are the pictures. And after that I also made another one, "Nyanko sensei" it's from a japanese anime and I really love it, but as usual the outcome wasn't what I expected. I feel like I'm Doctor Frankenstein.
See it and believe it...

After finishing the two projects, I just felt that I need to do something else.. So I came up with the idea of making key chains for my bag.. So i just made my own pattern and wala... :D
